So you want to be a Hip Hop Producer.
You want to start crafting the sound you hear in your head.
You want to start selling beats and making cash online.
Well your going to need some equipment to do that, what equipment depends on you and many things.
*This article is constantly being updated to reflect the answers I get from the successful Hip Hop producers I interview for the blog.
My thoughts: I have been conducting interviews with dozens upon dozens of Hip Hop Producers who have collectively sold 10’s of thousands of beats. Whenever I interview the producers I always make sure to ask them what hardware or software they use? 99% of the producers I talk to, use Fl Studio. Hell last night, I was talking to a rapper and producer at a party I was at and he was telling me all of his beats are from the Fl Studio demo version ( I do not recommend this at all!).
This MPC has been referenced many times in my interviews and already has a great reputation in the hip hop producer community.
Feedback: “The pads have a classic MPC feel and the controls are easy to map to the daw of your chose.”
