How old are you? Born May 19, 1990. 27 years old.

Where are you from?  Albany, NY.

Hardware or software?what kind? Cubase 5. Danelectro guitars. Fender basses.

How long have you been producing? I’ve been making instrumentals for about 10 years. Some of them have made it onto albums I’ve been working on, some have been in friends movies, some have turned into songs.
I started producing for artists specifically in 2015.

What’s the dopest thing to happen to you since you started making music and releasing product? I quit my job back in October 2016 to be a full time music producer. It’s given me the opportunity to create music everyday and clear up my schedule from the typical 9-5. I have more time to travel, hang out with people and explore any passion I have. I’ve just been able to dive deeper into things that truly interest me and have certain freedoms.
Who are your biggest influences?  John Mayer, Mac Demarco, Laraaji, Jack Kerouac, Frank Ocean, Alan Watts, Nature.  Ambient music is a big influence on me and how I approach producing beats. I love nature sounds, birds and expansive chords.

What is something about you people would be surprised to know?Although I usually use Cubase 5 in my studio a good portion of my beats (and some that I have sold exclusively) have been produced on an iPad. When I’m travelling I don’t use a laptop – I have an old iPad with garageband and I record all guitars and melodies direct into the mic. It produces a lo-fi and tinny sound that I really like.

Who has been your favorite artist to produce for? I’m really pumped to be working with an artist who goes by Alanmichael. He’s currently working on his album – he has a great vibe and is a great dude.

Blood Orange tweeted how this guy is the future.

How many leases or beats, do you think you have sold in your career?
Enough to quit my job ha.
