Rich before this Rap Sh*t: An interview with HXTXG.

I first found out about HXTXG in February when I got back from a vacation and I was watching music videos with one of my best friends. We stumbled upon the glorious video for Canada Day by HXTXG that you can check it out below.

Since then I been keeping up with his music and the character that is Humongous The G-D. I reached out to him a couple days ago and when I woke up today I saw that he had messaged me back. Below is the interview with HXTXG and trust me this guy is one interesting dude.

How did you come up with your rap name, HXTXG aka Humongous The G-D?

The Word was based on an amalgam of huge and monstrous which is exactly how i acted growing up since a youth. it wasnt too long before my family and friends gave me the nickname “Humongous”….funny because i was the smallest amongst all my peers but i definitely didn’t act like it. the “god” title came afterwards its original hebrew meaning ‘He who came from the sky’ from that point on i would forever be “Humongous The God”

How old are you?

a God has no age for they are timeless with no birth and no death. so my age is infinity.

Where are you from and how does that influence your music?

i was born in new jersey but i was raised in miami however it has no major influence in my music; i like to think of myself as the “god of music” i have always had an interest in music according to my mother who tells me that even as a toddler i would make up my own melodies alone in my bedroom.

Who exactly is HXTXG?

the rainman

How long have you been making music?

since i was able to mumble words as a child… i always had music of my own playing in my head.

How much do you charge for a feature?

What’s the dopest thing to happen to you since you started making music and releasing product?

working with DJ Khaled at we the best studios.

What did you do today?

plan more global domination

Who are your biggest influences?

all the losers of the world. I never want to be like them. so i always strive for something greater, always challenging my self to reach to levels of greatness!

Want to give any shoutouts? Rael, Big Earl, dj nasty, dj khaled, the Migos, & especially The Rain-Man.

What is something about you people would be surprised to know?

i made myself rich from affiliate marketing before all this music started to pop.

Any new music coming out?

yes. always new music on the way. so keep it locked.
